Subject: Deichmann Pottery by Deichmann on 2010/11/16 9:19:37 Hi Folks I have attached a couple of photos of a large (8 + inches tall) Deichmann pottey bird - this piece was made by Erica Deichmann (she signed and dated it) in 1946. The bird is very heavy likely 3-4 pounds! I discovered some photos of the Deichmann's and among them was the one I have attached of them - and when you look on the shelf beside Erica where their pottery is displayed - there is a very similar bird. I thought that was interesting to see as a collector - she obviously made more than I of this model! I would love to see any other Deichmann or Canadian Pottery photos that anyone else has to share!
