I have a set of 6 oak, armless, dining chairs, with cane seats [one chair needs repair of canework], that came from historical St. Mary's Academy in Windsor ON, [the Academy was built in 1865 and demolished in 1977].. I would like to know the name of the design style for these chairs, and possibly an estimate of their age?

I take it you have not gotten a response? I don't think this forum is functioning,,,too bad it is the only Canadian antique forum I can even find.
