This book explains and explores in great detail the works and styles of clay works and clay workers or pottery specialists within the region of British Columbia. It contains photographs of the artist and then a brief description of their work and history coupled with some photographs depicting their pottery. A very simple and to the point reference book for collectors or BC pottery. Search this book on Abebooks

This auction catalogue details the beautiful ceramics from the estate of Elizabeth Collard. It is stated that the collection comes from the person who literally wrote the book on the history of ceramics in Canada. Therefore this a very special catalogue with great images of very important and collectable pieces of ceramic work. Search this book on Abebooks

This is the book to have if you are, or want to be, a serious collector of Beauceware. It is really the first serious book detailing the great work of this famous French Canadian Pottery maker. At one point in history this was one of the largest pottery producers in Canada and was located in Quebec. The book contains over 1000 photo identifications of the pieces that were produced with their current values at the time of print.

This book or leaflet is just as the title states, it is a data base of Blue Mountain Pottery pieces. It is produced in table form, and lists in number order the entire works of Blue Mountain Pottery, however there are gaps as the creator did not have access to the complete company listing. There are additional phoographic sheets attached with this catalogue to help the reader or collector identify their piece. Probably hard to find on Abebooks.com, but you can try to email the author: Don M. Cross, BMPcollector (at) aol.com (Not sure if it is still working) Search this book on Abebooks

This catalogue is from a yearly production that contains a series of Canadian artists from throughout the country, it details the type of work they produce, with some photographs and a price guide for each object. This gives you a very quick overview of sculpture pottery and enamel and would be useful as a stepping stone to find more about a specific artist. Search this book on Abebooks

A fabulous booklet that was produced over a number of years detailing Canadian Ceramics. The 1967 booklet shows a selection of chosen artists and potters within the year 1967 that were felt deserved a mention and commendation for their artistic ability and creativity. The works found within this book are pieces that could be continually found to be of interest and beauty no matter what year it is. Search this book on Abebooks

This is the last in the collection of Canadian Ceramics Exhibition catalogs. There are 6 exhibition catalogs of the Canadian Guild of Potters with several black & white photos, lists of artists with the prices charged for their work. An excellent addition but very difficult to find.
