The book to have if you are looking to buy or sell clocks. This book is a guide suited to collectors and dealers, it details a guide to prices of clocks in Canada. This guide does not inlcude museum clock collections and neither are private individuals. Most of the clocks shown were offered for sale during the past seven years (from the date of print), but the values given are those current at the time of printing.

This book is a great guide to all things clocks. There are detailed photographs of all types of clock from Grandfather to carriage, with prices to match. The values in this guide are taken from many sources, and they represent the prices at that time. Unfortunately the book is not divided into chapters, although it does have a very good index to help find your specific clock.

This book is a great addition for both collectors and dealers, it allows the reader to check known marks on antiques and collectables likely to available in North America, with an emphasis on Canadiana. For this reason the book includes known Canadian silver marks as well as British hall marks. It also contains marks on glass including art glass, cut glass, bottles and other containers. There is a section on ceramics and there are illustrations of a wide selection of early marks on china, pottery and porcelain.

This is a wonderful book with very clear and precise information regarding oil lamps from the Kerosene era. This price guide list is based on thousands of lamps observed over the years. The book lacks the detailed photographs of other books, however it does provide the reader with clear categories and names, with measurements.

An excellent book regarding the history of Utensils. This book looks at the history of household utensils since the beginning of the Quebec region of Canada. It is divided into areas around the house, such as the fire and the kitchen, and within each chapter it gives photogrpahs and descriptions of the type of utensils you would expect to find. The chapter contains a great amount of detail and is ordered by date. This a very thorough book detailing the utensils of New France.
