Welcome to Locomotion. Where Twentieth Century Antiques are a lifelong passion. Growing up as a kid in the sixties, one of my favourite pastimes was going to the local dump with my dad, where he would search for scrap metal to resell to a scrap yard. In turn, I discovered a hidden passion. At age 5, I was finding the coolest toys and treasures a kid could ever dream of. Many dated back from the forties and fifties. One could only imagine how my collection of treasured items grew by age 23. At that time, I realized I needed to sell my vast collection, quit my profession and opened a tiny shop in Toronto’s east end. Locomotion was born.
